This band, WOW! I describe it as beeing the ideal music for a love making setting, even as to the slightly kinky and bondage-wise scenario. This band consists of Beth Gibbons, Geoff Barrow, Adrian Utley and Dave McDonald. They have been labelled as the pioneers of a music genre called "trip hop" getting its name from the music sounding like you are high on a drug and effectivly "tripping". I must say I feel nothing short of high when those sweet tones hit my ears and her supernatural voice lulls my brain.

This guy is known as Marylin Manson... like the band itself, he is the singer, he is the band he is everything of it, of course there are more people in the band but who cares? nobody, he is the face, the front, the brains and the focuspoint of the spotlight.
Shockrock, I dont know if thats the technical term but this is what I call it, intense, agressive, grotesque and on some level pretty darn beautiful. Its primal allthough bottled up with the modern filth, he/they/whatever seem to be stirring the people smearing theyr eyes and ears ith theyr own shit and making them love it.

I was watching this Italian movie by the director Fellini... what a load of abstract acid that movie was, maybe you have seen it? Satyricon. Anyway, I think the name is well suited for the theme of the film which is basically "sex" male on male, male on female and even a hint of female on female. It starts off with a guy who sets out to find his boytoy that a friend of his stole from him and sold to an actor, he gets his toy from the actor only to loose him again to his friend... by the boytoys choice... Anywho, this story takes us into one filthy debauchery of the roman empire to the next and (but I am not sure since the story is quite difficult to follow with the acidic nonsense and the Italian) even the filth of other empires. All of the protagonists accomplishments insentive are lust or sexual drive... thats a bit too red even for my taste...

Wow, today I came a bit early to school so I spent my morning listening to music and reading Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix, I was reaading this really wonderful chapter about Harry, McGonnigall and Dumbledore all standing against Umbridge (that vicious whore of babylon) and as I read this the song "ég er eins og ég er" starts playing in my i-Pod mini... I tell you I was this close |-| to start blubbering like a "little bitch with a skinned knee and shit" (Jay in Dogma), I dont know, I guess my patriotism to Hogwarts and my gay pride rainbow fruity essence just got the best of me :')

OOOH! I watched "One flew over the cuccoo's nest" yetserday night, I was pretty dissapointed, after hearing alot about this beeing a fantastic movie I was exspecting something a little more... humbling. Though I dont belive I would have been any happier even if I hadn't been exspecting more... In my oppinion its a mediocre film and not to be put on such a high pedestal.

This is absurd! Have I come to this level of fatique, I am sitting... no lying on the floor in my living room, with my legs on the table and my head akwardly positioned upagainst the sofa (slowly effecting a pretty stiff neck) and still I can fall asleep by merely closing my eyes. I think I have to catgorize this as a talent since it is a talent gifted to cats, I like cats.

Hmmm... I was walking to school today, I was thinking about alot of shit that I might blogg about... nothing of any interest. Allthough I did look at everything differently on my way to school, for no reason at all, I remember walking past cars, faceless drivers, walking past a parked car where there was, oddly enough, a man lighting himself a cigar, and not those petit cute ones but those big ones. I also noticed a street from the way I walk to school for the first time, I think its called Rauðarárstígur. Dont take me for an idiot, I have seen it before, its just I noticed it from there for the first time and it felt like I was seeing it for the first time.

I am listening to the requiem for a dream soundtrack. Wicked powerful movie that is, I remember watching it and feeling like propelling myself off a cliff afterwards.
Me and a classmate of mine have to decide which movie we want to present for english, Requiem for a dream or Trainspotting, I would rather Requiem for a dream because of the cinematography and use of colors and stuff, pretty progressive shit.
Allthough as I remember trainspotting has some progressive stuff aswell, maybe not progressive but atleast surreal :P
All in all both movies are great but I was scarred more severely by Requiem...

I guess I have to get going... I really dont feel like it, I could really do with the downtime.
